Customer Testimonials

When Western junior Maggie Wheeler’s laptop crashed, erasing all of her files including iTunes, and deleting everything on her iPod, she said she thought she had to kiss all her music and files goodbye. She said she had heard about the “Pod Man” from a friend, but was skeptical that he could recover all her lost files.

“I dropped my iPod off at this shop my friends told me about,” Wheeler said. “Ten minutes later, Blair called me back and said he had recovered all of my files. I could not believe it. My friends and I call him the ‘Pod Man,’ because he’s incredible at fixing iPods.”

Western graduate Corey Glader said he was riding his motorcycle at 90 mph when his iPod went flying off into the street. He said he found the four pieces his iPod had broken into 200 yards away from each other in two different directions.

Glader said the Apple store’s repair costs were more than his iPod was worth. Even though he did not expect anyone could fix it, he said he looked for a local repair shop.

“When I took it to Blair, he said it’d be a challenge fixing it since he’d never seen one that messed up before. But in an hour and a half it was up and running,” Glader said. “[Hewitt] said he popped in a new hard drive, booted it up, and that was it.”

Western sophmore Amanda Turner said she bought her iPod from the shop months ago, and decided to use the shops six month warranty to have Hewitt try to recover her lost files when her external hard drive where she kept her music malfunctioned and crashed. The files appeared to be gone, but Hewitt found a way to recover them, Turner said.
